From a press release at http://www.loytec.com/english/news/press.htm and elsewhere (http://www.ee.nec.de/news/newsarchive2003/documents/pr03-10-14.html)

The Lisa is based on NEC Electronics SoCLite+ architecture a system on chip (SoC) solution for products in the area of ANSI/EIA-709 (LonTalk), ANSI/EIA-852 (LonTalk over IP), and BACnet networks is beeing developed under the name LISA.

Powered by the ARM7TDMI-S 32-bit RISC CPU core of SoCLite+, LISA offers enough performance to meet todays and future demands in a networked building. A 10/100BaseT Ethernet port and the integrated LOYTEC L-Chip provide connectivity in Ethernet and LonWorks networks. LISA further integrates an LCD controller for TFT and STN displays, 2 UARTs, SSI, and freely programmable digital I/O pins.

The development of LISA is dedicated to the requirements of the end user. LOYTEC offers a state of the art integrated development environment for LISA based on the open tool platform Eclipse (www.eclipse.org). LISA uses the open real-time multi-tasking operating system RTEMS (http://www.rtems.org). The ORION protocol stack together with the L-CNIP library from LOYTEC guarantee the highest performance in ANSI/EIA-709 and ANSI/EIA-852 networks. The BSD TCP/IP protocol stack integrated into RTEMS and the open source WEB server from goahead (www.goahead.com) allow perfect communication over the Ethernet network.
